It checks the syntax, looks for typos, flags disposable and role addresses, looks up the domain's MX records, then asks the mail server whether the mailbox exists, stopping before any message is sent. It also tests whether the domain accepts every address (catch-all).

Can it verify a whole list?

Yes. Paste a list, upload a CSV, TSV, TXT or XLSX file of up to 25 MB, import from Google Drive or a connected email tool, or use the batch API. You get counts per verdict and a clean list to export.

Does it work with Gmail, Yahoo and Outlook addresses?

Yes, with an honest caveat: some providers, Yahoo in particular, accept every address or refuse checks, so their mailboxes can't always be confirmed. Flaxxa Mailcleaner reports those as risky or catch-all instead of guessing valid.
