How does one AI credit balance work?
Instead of separate subscriptions for chat, images, video and voice, a Flaxxa workspace has one AI credit balance. Every generation, from a chat reply to an avatar video, takes credits from it.
The amount depends on what the generation costs to run. A short answer spends very little; an image spends more; a video spends the most. The same balance also pays for the AI features in other Flaxxa apps, so one top-up covers them all.

Where do AI credits come from?
Two ways to fill the balance.
- Plans paid month by month include a monthly allowance of AI credits.
- Yearly, lifetime and free plans don't include a monthly allowance.
- Any workspace can buy extra credits when it needs more.
- When the balance runs out, generations pause until credits are added: no surprise bills.

Which AI models does Flaxxa AI use?
Flaxxa AI uses models from several AI providers, each picked for a job: language models for chat and writing, and specialist models for images, photo editing, video, avatars, voice and music. If a model is unavailable, a backup model can answer instead.
You don't have to manage any of it. In AI Chat you can keep the default model or choose another from the list. For some media tools you can also add your own provider key, if you already pay that provider.
