How does an AI image generator turn text into a picture?
Most image generators today start from random visual noise and refine it step by step until it matches the prompt, a method called diffusion. At each step the model asks which version of the image fits the words better, and keeps that one.
Because the image is built new each time, the same prompt gives a different picture on every run. That is why tools let you make several images at once and pick the best.
