How does chatting with a PDF work?
When you upload a document to File Chat, Flaxxa AI splits it into passages. Each time you ask a question, it finds the passages most related to it and gives them to the AI with your question, so the answer is based on what the document actually says. This is called retrieval-augmented generation.
It works with PDF, Word (.docx), text, Markdown, CSV and JSON files up to 25 MB.

How accurate are AI detectors and plagiarism checkers?
They give an estimate, not proof. AI detectors look for patterns typical of AI writing, and can be wrong in both directions, especially on short or heavily edited text. Plagiarism checks compare text with what is available to the checker.
Use the score as a prompt to look closer, and make the final call yourself.
