How do you manage multiple email accounts in one place?

Should you forward your email or use a unified inbox?
Forwarding every account into one main mailbox is free and quick, but it has costs: replies go out from the wrong address unless you set up "send as" for each one, forwarded mail can be flagged as spam, and searching old mail means searching two places.
A unified inbox connects to each account directly. Mail stays where it is, replies leave from the right address, and one search covers everything.

How do you connect each account?
Create app passwords
For Yahoo, iCloud, Fastmail and many hosts, turn on two-step verification and create an app password for mail.
Add the IMAP account
Enter the address and app password. Known domains fill in the server details, Test IMAP checks the login and the SMTP probe finds the right port.
Choose how much to sync
Pick how far back to copy mail in for each account, within your plan's limits.

How do you avoid replying from the wrong address?
Reply inside the conversation. Flaxxa Mails fills in the reply from the account the message arrived in, adds that account's signature when it sends, and drops your own address from reply-all. When you write a new message, choose the account in the From field; your default account is picked first.
