Why do businesses need multiple WhatsApp numbers?
Once a business grows past one WhatsApp number, the workspace problem starts. You want a separate number for support, one for marketing, one for the new geography, one for the campaigns team — but every BSP wants you to spin up a new account per number, and the inbox tools refuse to cross-cut.
Onboarding each number is its own job too: Meta's business verification, a display name, and templates for that account.

How does managing multiple WhatsApp numbers work?
Adding a number starts from the Numbers page. Meta's Embedded Signup opens inside Flaxxa: you sign in with Meta, choose the business and the number, and set the display name. Flaxxa then registers the number, syncs its templates and keeps its status and quality rating up to date from Meta.
Once live, every number is a first-class entity in the workspace. Each number has its own assignment rule (round-robin, least busy or manual) and its own list of agents who can see it.
Agents have access scoped per-number — your India support team works the India number; your US team the US number. Contacts still cross-cut (a customer who messages your India number and your US number is one contact in your workspace), so you don't lose continuity even if the conversations are operationally separate.
